It’s In You To Give

Happy Humpday!!! Wednesday’s are usually my productive days at work, I am starting to see the weekend light shining and I get shit done. Today on the other hand, is not one of those Wednesday’s. I keep finding myself in the Pinterest and Facebook vortex accomplishing a whole lotta nothin’, so, logically, I decide to waste more time and write a post. Shh… don’t tell my boss. In all fairness, my work always gets done. I just like to space it out throughout my week.

I think I may just be feeling a little fatigued from my blood donation yesterday. It was an exciting moment for me. I have always been low on iron and borderline anemic and was never able to donate. I was there with my spouse yesterday as he was donating and I thought why not try. The worst they can say is no. So I gave it a shot and low and behold by iron levels were great and I was able to finally donate for the first time. It gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside knowing you are helping people. I will be back in 59 days to make another donation. #donatingsaveslives

If you have thought about donating, I say give it a shot. It really makes you feel like you have done something amazing.

Way of Life

Hi there!! I know, I know, I am getting into my old habits of writing and publishing one post and that is it. I promise I will try to do better from here on out. The hard part is always wanting to write something of interest to you, and me for that matter! I must say, I am not the most exciting person around. I live a simple life.

Anywho, I am here today to talk about how I need to change my life. I need to change myself. I need to be better for me and for my spouse and our future family. I need to be healthier, stronger and I need to be someone who follows my dreams. I don’t want to get to clicheé but I have been wanting to do the blog thing for a while. I keep failing because I am not sure why anyone will find me or my writing interesting.

I have decided, it doesn’t matter if people find it interesting at least I am doing something I have always wanted to do. I am writing (not well I might add!) but at least I am here.

It is time to put it on “paper”, as of now, I am going to make a better effort to be a healthier and fitter person for myself and my future family. I want to be on this Earth for a while and there is no time like the present to get off my ass and get moving. #moveyourassoffthecouch

Introducing The Curious Cubicle

I have been wanting to start a blog for years now. I have started a couple in the past and even published one or two posts, however, I would inevitably stop posting. Then 6 months would go by without a single post and it would feel odd to go back to it. I doubt anyone ever read them and they have since been deleted (thankfully).

I have continued to have this urge to have a blog, my #1 problem was a title. I wanted it to be catchy and fun but not just be my name. Alas, I came up with The Curious Cubicle. As you can probably guess, I work an office job Monday to Friday which is where the cubicle comes into play. I think the title is unique and catchy. If you work in an office setting you know all too well that fun and interesting conversations happen at your cubicle. I thought that this blog could be my way of expressing myself and speaking my mind. There will not be one main topic of focus, I will be using this blog as it was originally intended... a virtual diary of sorts.

I just want a space where I can discuss all of my areas of interest. I like fashion, DIY, home décor, cooking and everything in between. I am not sure if anyone will read this and whether I get 1 reader or 100 I will be ecstatic because to be honest, I am doing this for me.

PS: I apologize in advance as my writing style is my own and likely will not be grammatically correct, I am ok with that and I hope you will be too. #nogrammarpoliceallowed
